In an effort to improve and support a safer campus and better learning environment for our students, we are partnering with the Stopit alert system. The system is simply an app where students can report bullying and/or any other inappropriate activity. The report is given anonymously.
The way it works is that students can make a report via the Stopit app, go to the Stopit home website page, or call the hotline number. Once the report has been submitted, school administrators will receive an alert through their respective emails. An investigation can then begin. Our local law enforcement is also included in the alerts. Should a report be submitted that would be considered extremely dangerous, law enforcement officials can respond accordingly.
Along with the security features, the app also allows access to a link that provides additional counseling services. Students will have access to counseling support from licensed, professional counselors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
